Drivers please read before applying

Before embarking on your journey as a new driver, it's essential to understand that obtaining a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate is a prerequisite for hitting the road. This certificate serves as a crucial requirement for those considering a career in driving, as it verifies your physical fitness to operate commercial vehicles. If you're hired for a driving position, you'll be required to obtain this certificate if you haven't already. The process involves a medical evaluation conducted by a certified medical examiner to ensure you meet the necessary health standards. While costs may vary, typically it is around $100 and many Urgent Care clinics offer this service. Please be prepared to get this Certificate, if you do not already have one, if you are accepted as a driver.

You must also be prepared to pull your own NC Driving Record at the cost of $13.75. If you do not have a NC driver's license, you would have to pull the one for your state license if you are accepted as a driver. If you are unsure of your driving record, please pull it before you apply to verify you have a good record and your license is in good standing, otherwise it will be needed before the final acceptance.
